Dr. Nicole Salge, PT, DPT is the founder of Catalyst Physical Therapy & Wellness, specializing in pelvic health physical therapy and women’s health. She helps women better understand their bodies, uncover the underlying factors contributing to their symptoms, and create lasting improvements in pain, movement, function, and overall well-being.
Nicole specializes in pelvic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, bladder and bowel dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, core dysfunction, and lumbopelvic pain and dysfunction. Her approach looks beyond the pelvic floor alone, recognizing that symptoms can be influenced by the way the entire body—and the whole person—functions.
With advanced training in pelvic health rehabilitation, Nicole combines evidence-informed physical therapy with a holistic, whole-person approach. Her individualized assessments may consider movement and biomechanics, muscle and fascial tension, nervous-system regulation, breathing patterns, and mind-body factors that can influence symptoms and healing. Treatment may incorporate manual therapy, corrective exercise, dry needling, breathwork, nervous-system regulation, and mind-body practices.
Nicole earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Arcadia University after studying Psychology and Holistic Health at Stockton University. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to look at the interconnected factors that may contribute to a woman’s symptoms rather than focusing solely on the area that hurts.
Many patients seek out Catalyst after months or years of experiencing pelvic pain, discomfort, bladder or bowel symptoms, postpartum challenges, or other concerns without finding answers or lasting relief. Nicole’s goal is to help women feel heard and understood while gaining a deeper understanding of their bodies, improving their function, and rebuilding confidence in what their bodies are capable of.
At Catalyst Physical Therapy & Wellness, women are treated as whole people—not simply a diagnosis or a collection of symptoms.
